Misc
Navigation
One of the biggest changes in this new release is undoubtedly the simplified navigation in the application. Now you find the main menu at the top of the page. This saves you horizontal space. The concept of projects and workspaces remains. However, navigation is only done at two levels. The project is therefore now considered a space in the same way as workspaces. The project still allows you to group several workspaces.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CORRESPONDENCE - Change of navigation
In order to optimize the available space, the navigation of the Correspondence menu has been reworked. From now on, the MESSAGES menu includes all correspondence, discussions between members of the space and shared messages on the visitor portal. These 3 modules are now available in the form of 3 views: (1) Correspondence, (2) Discussions, (3) Visitor portal.
Correspondance is now more generally labelled as "Messages".
Search for workspaces
You no longer remember the name of the workspace but ony the associated project. Simply type in the name of the project, Cooperlink shows you all the associated workspaces.
Improved interface for tablets
Our team has worked to facilitate the use of Cooperlink from a tablet. The most important information in every module is displayed on the second line for more readability.
Documents
Annotate / Mark-up PDF files
Without leaving the Cooperlink environment, you can now annotate your PDF files from the document management app. You have tools such as shapes, text, comment bubbles, measurements, ... The tool also allows you to see all the annotations, sort them and/or filter them based on criteria.
Identify empty folders
To avoid browsing empty folders unnecessarily, use the folder browser. A solid icon indicates a folder containing files. An icon with outline informs you that the folder is empty.
Delete a document version/revision
A version of your document history should no longer be available to your partners? Go to history and delete the version.
Auto-numbering on several criteria
Do you want to number your documents on the basis of several criteria such as the package and document types? This feature is now available in this new version.
TIFF viewer
The documents app now offers a TIFF file viewer.
Workflows
Annotations when responding to an approval request
When responding to an approval request, you can annotate the PDF file using graphic tools (shapes, lines, ...) and texts (bubbles, ...). Annotations are saved as attachments to your response. The tool also allows you to consult the list of annotations included in the document.
Comment sheet
If a comment is too long to be displayed on the cover page, the workflow can be configured to display these comments on a second comments page.
Easily enable/disable contributors
You will no longer have to search for the contributor in a list when creating a workflow. A simple slider allows you to activate or deactivate it.
Tasks
Add documents from Sharepoint, BIM360, Letsbuild, ... to the task
Link one or more additional documents from potentially different sources to a task.
Work schedule display
Would you like to get an overview of the tasks and works that await you for the next few days? The work schedule display gives you a daily overview of the milestones of your tasks and the agenda of your expected works.
Messages (former Correspondence)
Improved visitor portal for quick sharing / quote requests
The Cooperlink team has been hard at work making substantial improvements to the Quick Share/Quote Request portal. It is now possible:
- to create a free structure of folders within the message and to add additional files
- to download all the files in ZIP format
- to classify the messages using classification folders
- to add contributors a posteriori (after having already sent the message)
- to send the messages from the user's e-mail box (instead of Cooperlink's cloud e-mail service)
- to access the messages directly in the project or work space (from the navigation menu)
Configuration
The Cooperlink team has laid the first stones for a profound improvement in the configuration of the application. More improvements are coming soon.
